Actually I’m not sure which came first, the christening or the tooth. It was either Friday (11 August) or Saturday (12 August) that he bit down on my finger and I felt the razor sharp edge of his little tooth poking through his bottom gums. Was it arriving in his Fatherland of Iceland that did the trick or the baptism or maybe it was the waiting five hours for our flight to Iceland? At any rate, his fabulous smile is just a little less gummy these days. The christening was beautiful and Andri and his cousins, Margret and Noi, were perfect little angels, watching in quiet fascintation as water was dripped over their heads.

Andri spent lots of quality time with his family and friends being kissed and held close and as a result now refuses to be left lying on the floor for more than ten seconds before screaming like someone is trying to do him bodily harm. Of course he starts doing this after a week of everyone talking about how calm, relaxed and happy he is. Such is life.

There were plenty of photos taken and will soon be posted but now I must go attend to my screaming child.
