Andri has taken to ‘reading’ to me at night. The moment I pick up my book to begin my evening reading, he begins babbling at the top of his baby lungs all the while looking at the book. It’s usually the other way around, me reading aloud to him while he nurses and falls asleep. Now, I can’t pick up a book without him stopping nursing or chewing on his fists to start chatting away; and if the book gets close enough he will try to chew on it. Whenever someone begins talking to or around him he joins in the conversation and can go on for as long as half an hour non-stop. Neither Snorri nor I are the loquacious types yet we’ve somehow spawned a little chatter box (See video posted below. It takes a while to load but is worth the wait.).
